A Story about Passion and Craftsmanship – Welcome to Anno Domini 1716

Welcome to our ANNO DOMINI 1716 apARTments, your HOME AWAY FROM HOME in the heart of Marktheidenfeld in beautiful Lower Franconia.

Since 2011, we, Uschi, Florian and Werner Jannek, have been dedicated to lovingly renovating and preserving historic buildings to offer our guests a unique living atmosphere. In a central location between Hofgasse and Wagnergasse in Marktheidenfeld, we have created an architecturally outstanding ensemble that perfectly combines history and modernity.

After constructing our modern townhouse and an architecturally award-winning office wing with an art gallery, we expanded our offering in 2018. The neighbouring listed buildings were converted into exclusive studios, apartments and suites following an extensive 18-month renovation. Behind the historic façades, our guests can now enjoy contemporary comfort in a stylish ambience that retains the charm of centuries past.

Our AD1716 complex offers a wealth of highlights, from centuries-old sandstone walls and original cobblestones in the courtyard to lovingly restored vaulted cellars. Every stay with us is characterised by a unique combination of traditional craftsmanship and state-of-the-art facilities – ideal for business travellers, long-term guests or holidaymakers who value upscale living.
